As our kids grow, I know there's a certain magical time of day where we are all together and I want to make that time as meaningful as possible. This is dinnertime! We had a big farmhouse table that didn't really work for our family of four. It was too big and awkward. I wanted something smaller and round for better eye contact, conversation, and card-playing. Light: Wayfair replica of a French antique. Table and chairs: Pottery Barn. I love our table! It is so much more functional for our family. I love that the chairs aren't matchy matchy with the table.
Rug: Target. Chalkboard: hand-me-down. I grew up with a chalkboard in our dining area and on it my mom wrote our Saturday jobs or an inspiring quote. My kids LOVE the chalkboard and use it all the time.
